Contact Pulaski Record Offices

Pulaski County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot verify custody, arrange release, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office directly for each of those matters.

Official Pulaski County Routes

Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office: Sheriff Michael Worrell, 802 E Main Street, Pulaski, VA 24301, 540-980-7800. The published source lists no separate records-unit phone or formal office hours. For a jail-held booking record, begin with NRVRJ rather than treating the sheriff’s public number as a jail records line.

New River Valley Regional Jail: 108 Baker Road, Dublin, VA 24084; mailing address P.O. Box 1067, Dublin, VA 24084; 540-643-2000; fax 540-643-2010. The records-officer lead listed by the Library of Virginia is Carl Akers, 540-643-2000 ext. 2243, cakers@nrvrj.org. Confirm the assignment before making a request. NRVRJ does not publish records-service hours, a fixed booking-photo price, or a separate public booking-record form.

Pulaski County FOIA assistance: Ashley Edmonds, 143 Third Street NW, Suite 1, Pulaski, VA 24301; 540-980-7705; fax 540-980-7717; aedmonds@pulaskicounty.org. Written requests are helpful, and the county accepts requests by mail, email, fax, in person, or phone.

Use the path that matches the type and custody stage of the record:

  • For a person currently held at the regional jail, use the official NRVRJ Inmate Lookup. It also offers a released-inmates option, but it is not a chronological arrest log or a guarantee of a retained record.
  • For an adult booking record or routine booking-photo request, start with NRVRJ and use the request details outlined on the home guide. Under Va. Code § 2.2-3704, a public body generally responds within five working days; timely notice can add seven working days. Charges are limited to actual costs, and a requested estimate or a deposit above $200 may apply.
  • For an official court outcome after an accusation, use the Pulaski County court system. Court staff are not the jail records office.
  • For warrant-related research, see the Wanted Fugitives guide and verify any result with the issuing agency.
  • For a state-prison or state-supervision record, use the Virginia Department of Corrections locator. VADOC FOIA inquiries may go to FOIA@vadoc.virginia.gov, 804-963-2953, P.O. Box 26963, Richmond, VA 23261.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP Inmate Locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator, which are separate from local jail systems.
